PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION
The Bachelor in International Business target who are interested in pursuing their studies in Business Management. The programme is divided into 4 specialisations namely: E-Commerce, Finance and Banking, Marketing and International Management

Aim |
The career opportunities are extensive for the graduate in both the private and government sectors dealing in international business. Graduates may venture into the industrial, finance and banking sectors as well as the service industry and government agencies. |
Objective |
This programme is designed to train and expose the students to the world of international business. Students will also be trained in Intimation business affairs in order to have a firm grasp of the understanding of the local economy and global business. |
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
This course is divided into the university's core school, core program and core university courses. The total credits for university subjects are 24 units, core school subjects are 39 units and core programme subjects are 57 units inclusive of major subjects, with an overall total of 120 units in order for the students to graduate. Students also have the option of choosing one of the majors offered under this school. In the university's core subjects, students are able to study compulsory topics such as co-curriculum and performing arts. These subjects are aimed at equipping students with the communication skills which are essential during their professional life.
- The duration of the course is 3 years and student must successfully complete all modules.
- Project Paper is to be completed at the final year integrating the skills and knowledge learned.
PROGRAMME ASSESSMENT
Students’ performance will be assessed by assignments, quiz, mid-year written examinations and year-end written examinations. The assessment components are 30% for quiz/assignment, 30% for mid-year, 40% for written examinations
PROGRAME ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

- Passes in five approved subjects in the GCE examination of which two must be passed at advanced level or equivalent.
