CaseTrust For Education



From 1 September 2005, all Private Education Organisations (PEOs) that want to enrol international students will need to have CaseTrust for Education status. Further details about CaseTrust for education can be found at http://www.case.org.sg/casetrust5.htm

 

 

Student Protection Scheme (SPS)

The SPS serves to protect the students’ fees in the event a PEO is unable to continue operations due to insolvency, and/or regulatory closure. Furthermore, the SPS protects the student if the PEO fails to pay penalties or return fees to the student arising from judgements made against it by the Singapore courts.

Lincoln School of Management require that all foreign students have to be placed under the Student Protection Scheme (SPS) as stipulated by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE).

 

  • The Student Tuition Fee Insurance
  • i.
    A copy of the master insurance policy dated [25 th November 2004] issued by [NTUC Income Insurance Co-operative Ltd] (the “Master Insurance Policy”) taken up by Lincoln School of Management for the purpose of insuring, among other things, the student. The Master Insurance Policy sets out, among other things, the events under which NTUC Income Insurance Co-operative Ltd shall indemnify the Student for Tuition Fees paid to Lincoln School of Management.
    ii.
    Lincoln School of Management undertakes to procure that the cover under the Master Insurance Policy shall be extended to the Student and the school shall, within [ 30 ] days of the date of the Agreement, deliver to the Student the certificate of student insurance.

A Standard Student Contract (SSC - sample) will be given to foreign students prior to submission of student pass application. It is a compulsory for students to sign (in English) and keep 1 copy for their reference. The SSC will be available in English, Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesia, and Chinese.

Education Excellence Framework for Singapore Education


The caseTrust for education scheme serves to boost SIngapore 's reputation as a trusted education hub and is a postive step towards making singapore a Global School house.


What is CaseTrust for education?


PEOs who have obtained the CaseTrust for Education status will be able to offer a placement to international students.

The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) will only accept student's pass applications from students who are enrolled in a CaseTrusted Institution that is:

  • Registered with the MOE
  • Not required to be registered with MOE but had obtained permission from ICA to accept international students; or
  • Licensed by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) to operate as a childcare centre.

PEOs who are Casetrusted are required to put in place:
   1) Student Protection Scheme (SPS)
   2) Standard Student Contract

Students are required to sign Standard Student Contract with the PEOs to safeguard your interest.

 

Confidentiality of Student's Records
The students’ particulars completed through the Application/Registration Forms are used only for the School’s internal use. Thus, Lincoln School Of Management is committed to maintain the confidentiality of the Student's personal  particulars and undertakes not to divulge any of the Student's personal information to any third party without the prior consent of the Student.

Refund Policy
In event of course transfer or withdraw by the students,the students are entitled to course fee refund.The refund's policy is tabulated as below:

Application fees paid are not refundable under any circumstances.

A student who has a grievance should address it to school via

If you have any enquires,please download the Feedback Form and submit to us or you can directly write a letter send to us by email.

In the event that the student and School are unable to resolve the dispute, advise will be seek from CASE Mediation Centre before instituting any legal actions or proceedings.

All the students' grievances will be kept with strictest confidentiality. There will be no form of disadvantage to the student for making the complain.
