INTRODUCTION
This Program is intended for the “hands-on” manager whose role is to manage limited resources in order to achieve specific results required by the organization. The focus here is on the practical approach- using plans or methods to achieve specific, short to medium term aims, as distinct from the operational approach where the breadth of authority and timescales involved are more significant. Equally, it will help anyone who wants to develop towards a future role as a manager by helping them to gain the knowledge and understanding necessary for carrying out that role. The latest progression of CMI Diploma in Management (level 4) wil directly lead graduated students to Master of Business Administration (MBA with in-company practice) from University of Sunderland, in United Kingdom.

The assessment should, wherever possible, use work-based evidence drawn from the candidate's own organizational experience |

Approved Centers will have clearly identified how the organizational dimension to the candidate's evidence and assessment will be incorporated into the assessment process. |

The assessment process will not compromise or present any risk to candidate, organizational or commercial confidentiality. |

OBJECTIVES
The Diploma in Management at Level 4 is designed to meet the needs of middle managers wishing to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to develop their career in management. It concentrates on the practical application of management theory and principles in the context of the developing middle manager, thus providing a foundation for continuing professional and personal development in management. The student will learn how to improve their team and individual performance, manage physical and financial approach to meet goals, communicates and use information more effectively and develop customer approach focused to marking and operations.
