Aims and Objectives
Research degree work has been growing rapidly in the Graduate School, both in the number of students registered and in the number of staff involved in supervision. There are fourteen professors and many other staff heavily involved in such work. The School also recruits and supervises research students jointly with other universities where appropriate.

Assessment
Students’ performance will be assessed by reports and thesis presentations.
Admission Requirements
A candidate admitted into a Degree of Doctor of Philosophy shall possess any of the following qualifications and must demonstrate an ability to carry out independent research:

- A Master’s degree from any universities or an equivalent qualification of an institution as approved by the Senate;

candidates who has a Bachelor’s degree with First Class Honors may also be considered. In this case, the candidates will register initially at Master level, and based on their performance they may be promoted into the Ph.D. program. |
